As the moon reflects the light of the sun

We must reflect His light to everyone

And as the leaf absorbs the rays of light

Receiving its food to make it through the night

We must get ready

For the night will soon be here

But in the darkest hour

There is nothing to fear

For Jesus is the Light that will shine ahead

He is our strength

And His Word, our bread

As the Redwood reaches for the skies

Praising the Father on Whom life relies

And as the root digs deep below the ground

Preparing the tree to stand against the storm

As the moon reflects the light of the sun

We must reflect His light to everyone
