Glory

By Jim Black

When I reach the river

When I leave this dry and dusty road

I’ve been traveling so long

I will be delivered

From this broken down tent

I’ve been living in so long

Then I will discover

What I’ve been waiting for and wondering about

Then You will uncover

What You started in me

On that Day I’ll see Glory…

I will see Glory

I’ll see You

Walking through this valley

Of the shadow of death

I know I’m not alone

Nothing can destroy me

Though the storm rages on

I know You’ll lead me home

To the destination

I raise up my eyes to the mountains ahead

To the new creation

That You started in me

On that day I’ll see Glory…

I will see Glory

I’ll see You

Not in the fire

Not in the wind

But in the gentle whisper within

I’ll hear Your voice

You give me hope to carry on

Until that day when I will see Your Glory…

I will see Glory…Glory…

Jesus, I’ll see You
